Improving Our Commitment to Our Partners

The history of Esperta Health starts in 2016 with MyWoundDoctor. By supporting correctional healthcare sites with convenient, evidence-based wound care via telehealth, we saw a significant improvement in healing outcomes. Additionally, costs were tremendously reduced.

Fast forward a few years and Esperta Health was started with a goal of treating chronic wounds in the comfort of a patient’s home. Since its launch in 2022, we have built the industry’s only complete in-home chronic wound care program and have seen our partnership with health plans, providers, and patients grow.

Our Commitment

As Esperta Health continues to grow, so does our commitment to delivering exceptional wound care in the home. We’ve made the following updates to our website to better serve our partners.

1.  For health plans we included an easy-to-understand synopsis of our solution: In addition to outcomes and challenges impacting health plans today, we go into detail about our in-home wound management program. Our solution includes wound care expertise, our wound evaluation system, responsive care plans, and a 12-week wound care prevention program.
   
2. For providers we added a quick link to refer patients: We strive to support our providers with improved wound healing times and open communication. By adding a button for easy referrals to our website, we eliminate many barriers that prevent a patient from receiving expert wound care.
   
   Once a referral is received, our customer support team communicates with the patient to ensure they are eligible and schedules their first appointment. This information is immediately given to the referring provider.
   
3. For patients we developed a HIPAA compliant patient portal: Our goal is to treat patients in the comfort of their home and to provide access to their wound healing plan. The patient portal allows patients to see their visit notes, plan for healing, upcoming visits, and more all while keeping their information secure.
